To kick off 2020, we received some brilliant news. Revolt is now a registered B Corporation. As a company, we couldn’t be prouder to join the movement.
It is testament to the way we believe business should be done. It is proof of the impact of our work. It is recognition of how we believe we should treat the planet, society and our people. Creating meaningful work with dignity and purpose.
It’s not easy. Which is exactly why we did it.
When it comes to business certification, we believe that what is easy is not worth doing. Getting B Corp status is hard for all the right reasons, and that’s exactly why it’s worth taking the time and energy to become one. It also explains why there are only 255 others in the UK.
The B Lab assessment recognises the work needed and the genuine commitment required to make a business a force for good in the world. It is a necessary part of the continuous fight against greenwashing, for example. B Lab measures and verifies companies’ environmental and social performance using the B Impact Assessment, and ensure rigorous standards are met. Today there are 3,200 other companies globally who have also undergone the assessment.
We’re proud to be joining a community of like-minded organisations committed to using business for good, including Patagonia, innocent, Pukka Herbs, Abel & Cole, Divine, and JoJo Maman Bebe, and to fight the fight alongside them.
