Looking to take your next step into the creative industry but not quite sure where to turn? Welcome back to Sponge: Internships — our new 8-week paid programme designed to expand your skills and experience. 

Offering three internships across our Design, Creative and Strategy teams, we’re focused on supporting underrepresented talent to break into the industry. 

Next up this year: Strategy — an opportunity to understand how brands can have a positive impact on the world — from communications campaigns to innovation to social impact strategy and more.

Our internships are structured across three phases:
Absorption – experience and soak up what agency life is like

Immersion – get stuck into client work, experimentation and research

Expansion – refine your storytelling skills and CV, getting ready to enter the creative industry

what you’ll be doing
As part of our strategy team you will:
Get involved in client projects, unearthing insights about brands, audiences and culture to help unlock creative ideas

Help out on research and internal projects that support the wider agency

Share creative inspiration, insights and interesting work you’ve discovered

Get stuck into agency life, collaborating with the team and learning along the way
What we are looking for:
A creative thinker and problem solver

Passion for creativity, positive impact and sustainability
 
Strong research and analytical skills

A collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team

Evidence of curiosity, being comfortable in uncertainty and willing to navigate complex or new things

Foundational knowledge of marketing or brand strategy e.g. 1-2 years of experience working in a marketing or brand-related role

Nice to have –  pre-existing presentation, storytelling or creative writing skills
Internship details
This is an 8-week paid programme based in our London Agency starting at the end of July. You’ll work three days in the office and two days from home per week.

Our internships are paid at the London Living Wage, and we’ll provide the equipment you need to do your best work, including a laptop for the duration of your internship. 
APplication process
1. Get your application in before the closing date 24th June

2. We will review applications and reach out to let you know if you have been invited to interview

3. Interviews to run between 6-14th July

4. Successful candidate to be informed w/c 20th July

5. 8 week internship to begin end of July 
About Sponge and Revolt London
Sponge is designed to help emerging and underrepresented talent get into the creative industries. Through a series of events, portfolio reviews and internships, we aim to create space to soak up the words of seasoned pros who each have a unique story to tell and tips to share. 

Revolt, part of Anthesis, sit at the intersection of business, impact and communications. We help create brands the world wants more of. We’re proudly B-Corp Certified and have offices in London, New York, Geneva and Barcelona producing work with clients such as Mars, Pepsico, Budweiser, UN Women, IKEA and St John’s Ambulance
