REQUIREMENT
Launching on World Mental Health Day Revolt has led a full brand refresh and campaign for Frazzled, a mental health charity founded by comedian and author Ruby Wax, to get Brits opening up about their feelings. The goal was to attract a new audience and establish Frazzled as the go-to space for sharing their stresses, worries and experiences.

69% of Brits make small talk every day, yet 45% rarely or never open up about how they’re really feeling. Our ambition was clear; to foster an atmosphere for discussing emotions in a more approachable manner.
RESPONSE
The inspiration for the visual identity came from Ruby herself, who speaks about mental health in a no-nonsense and accessible way using phrases like “it’s like we have a Ferrari on our heads but nobody gave us the keys”. In addition to the insight that existing users of Frazzled show signs of support by sharing emojis during Zoom sessions, the idea of creating an accessible visual approach which broke down existing barriers surrounding mental health stigma became the foundation for the visual identity.
Response
The rebrand includes a redrawn version of the existing logo, maintaining that familiarity while cleaning up and modernising the mark. Additionally to the emoji world created, the bold colour palette spans cool to warm tones, mirroring different mental states: contemplative, energetic and passionate, allowing the brand’s messaging to flex.
Within the delivery of the brand identity, Revolt was responsible for the design of Frazzled’s new website, their first campaign since launching seven years ago and the brands first ever TV space commercial.
